I have recurring dreams about bees, wasps, and other stinging insects. They seem to represent stress or problems.
For instance, I had one where a swarm of wasps was chasing me into a house, and they seemed to increase and decrease in size throughout. They also changed color.
I vaguely remember fighting them off with different household objects and homemade weapons. They were about the size of Asian Giant Hornets, roughly.
Toward the end of the dream, I think they got into my bedroom and started stinging me, and then I woke up.
